Life after BNM

Recently I attended a wedding & met some old friends. One asked me what I was doing now. Based on previous experience, people find it hard to believe if I tell them the truth. I guess they wanted to hear something else. Even if they believe (bcos knowing me they knew I can't be lying, they close by saying "but you must have made yr millions"... huh berpeloh!! (no.. not for not having the millions yarr...)

Lately I just smile if one asks similar questions. As for now, whenever I am free, I attend kelas tafsir, aqidah, tadabbur, tajwid & bahasa Arab. All these classes are with courtesy of my boss. Alhamdulillah. Ganjaran yg tak ternilai. Memang bertuah bila dapat employer yang hatinya berkiblatkan akhirat (you can confirm with Redkebaya). I also gather some fund from friends (zakat & sedekah)& channel them to sekolah tahfiz and mosque here and Cambodia. And in between, I catch up with my reading. A luxury that come in the form of time...

Talking about reading ni, a few weeks back I went through the piles of books in the cabinets. Passed many to recycle centre, leaving behind buku2 agama only. Itupun yang "soheh" saja. Some of these books were bought in late 70's tapi belum dibaca sampai sekarang. Beli untuk collectionlah kiranya...

Not that your friends didnt believe, but they expect you whisper back at them..'how many millions you have now?' Some just want to boost of what they have, but cant tell directly...
